Do the rubber tiles fade as a result to exposure to UV radiation?
The rubber tiles, when exposed to direct sunlight, start to fade like most other materials. This process is slower if the rubber tiles are installed in a shady place. A further advantage of shade that children do not play in the sun, and the surface does not heat up as much.
What differences in colour shades are there between rubber tiles?
The rubber granules – the raw material of the rubber tiles – are produced by grinding used tires. Because the proportion of the various types of granules (from winter or summer tires, car, truck or tractor tires etc.) constantly varies in the mixture, so the dyes do not paint them in exactly the same way.
