The Agro Flex barn paving belongs to the Hungarian-made ReFlex rubber paving product line. The products are not made by vulcanization, but by a special technological process, from grains of ground rubber, so the comfort, the load capacity and the wear resistance of the AgroFlex tiles are excellent. The extra layer of insulation they provide has an outstanding significance particularly in the long, cold winter nights.
The cow mattresses provide a natural, hygienic, and stress-free environment, helping to preserve the animals in good health. The mattresses help the cows to move naturally, and maximize their time spent relaxing. Moreover, since they cushion the impact on the tarsus joints when the animals lie down, the cows can get up comfortably, at any time, to drink, eat or defecate so there is less manure in the boxes.
The increased time spent lying increases milk yield and improves the quality of milk. Another advantage of the mattress is that a healthy cow, not suffering from leg injuries, is also more fertile.
Easy to clean
The Agro Flex mattresses – with untied cattle keeping – help to keep the hygiene of the barn floor, and thus keep the animals healthier and cleaner. The mattress surfaces are comfortable, hygienic and easy to clean; they are soft, they absorb shocks, and have good insulation.
The Agro Flex non-slip paving combines softness with good adhesion to provide a stable, secure, and comfortable interface. The walk to their feeding and drinking stations more frequently, thereby increasing feed intake and milk yield. At the same time, the detection of oestrum is simpler because the cows move more naturally. The bottom surface – equipped with cleats – improves the comfort and softness and is permeable to liquids. It is easy to clean and drain slurry, resulting in drier floors and healthier knuckles. It is very simple to lay the Agro Flex mattresses; they have no sharp edges, and they require only minimal amounts of litter to use.
