If you want to ensure cleaner and healthier living conditions for your horses with less labour effort while reducing the costs of littering as well, then the Hungarian-made EquiFlex Stable Floor is an excellent alternative and quick return on your investment.
Our rubber pavements are not manufactured by vulcanization, but rather a special procedure, from rubber grains, so the EquiFlex pavements provide excellent comfort, load capacity and wear resistance. Their extra layer of insulation has an outstanding significance particularly during the long, cold winter nights.
The flexibility of the EquiFlex Stable Floor is particularly beneficial for older horses or horses recovering from longer injury by reducing the pressure and tension on their hoofs. In case of illness or injury, horses feel less pain on the tiles; and as a result, they burden the injured limbs uniformly, so they recover sooner. In addition to the higher comfort, the risk of illnesses and joint disease is also reduced.
Developed in collaboration with the demonstration farm of the Gödöllő University of Agricultural Sciences
1. Protects the horse’s lungs
Since the stable is easier to clean, the quality of its air improves, which is beneficial to the horse’s lungs.
2. It protects the joints
The flexible surface spares the joints, which helps to prevent joint injuries, and makes injured horses recover sooner.
3. Less litter
Using EquiFlex rubber tiles decreases the amount of litter needed, so it is easier and faster to clean the boxes.
4. Hygienic
EquiFlex rubber tiles quickly drain fluids, and are easy to clean, thus reducing the risk of infections.
5. Insulation
Thanks to the thickness of the EquiFlex rubber tiles, and the small air bubbles between the particles, the rubber paving insulates well, especially in winter, to protect the horses from the cold ground next.
6. Non-slip surface
Because of the rough tire surface and the effective drainage, the surface is safe, non-slippery.
7. Protects from injuries
The floor and wall-mounted Equiflex rubber covering protects horses from accidental damage in case of kicking, rolling etc.

Experiences
„Each the year as we can save about 40% of the cost of littering, although we have doubled the frequency of littering in order to improve comfort. The economic payback is important, but the most important factor is our horses’ well-being, health and good condition of joints. A striking change is the noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the stables and air quality. Another positive aspect is that owners who rent boxes for their horses in our place also welcomed the fact that their horses will now enjoy better conditions.”
„Horses like walking in the walker paved with EquiFlex; which is also simple and easy to clean. It is not slippery, they cannot wear out the ground, and the electric fence is working properly. We use less litter in the rubber-paved boxes, and horses feel particularly well in them. Keeping the boxes clean just got easier and more hygienic than it used to be with conventional boxes; and the side wall cover prevents leg injuries in case of kicks.”
